A minimum of Seven working days’ notice is requested. No cost. Must be 60 years of age or older. Must be able to enter/exit vehicle independently; cane or walker okay.

Medicaid Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT)
Medicaid Non-emergency medical transportation is coordinated by Iowa’s Managed Care Organizations (MCOs). Each of the MCOs has selected a transportation vendor. Members may contact the NEMT broker of their assigned MCO at the numbers below to schedule their NEMT services. Rides available during daytime hours, Monday through Friday (no evening service). Transportation provided to area residents, 60 years of age or older through partial funding from Heritage Area Agency on Aging. The program provides transportation to seniors to allow them to remain living in the community. There is no cost to participants, please allow a two to four-day advance notice when requesting services. Services are limited to older adults living in the Lisbon and Mount Vernon school districts.
